My truck in front of our (soon to be) new home:
When we had the inspection done, my truck got in a few of the shots. Between the listing, the inspection, and the appraisal, here are the only pictures I have of what’s about to be mine.... and the wife’s.... and the bank’s....
Here is an inside view of the garage, plenty of room for a Trans Am and maybe a Durango. Hopefully at the same time. There are currently too many doors. And not enough light. Or room overhead for a lift.
According to Google the current/previous homeowner’s Fusion is only about an inch shorter than my TA, so it should fit fine. Especially since I have less kid-junk.
Literally the only part of the house that needs work is the deck. There is a warped board right ahead of the stairs, and many missing balusters. This will be the first thing I tackle. IF it hasn’t been done... the current owner has a nice little woodworking shop in the basement and had some projects going... not sure if they were for this house or the next. But either way I’m fine with it.
Speaking of wood, hopefully the playset is gone... or we’re gonna have a lot of nice firewood to enjoy the firepit in the corner of the yard with muahaha.
Oh, and I can’t finish a post about a home without showing off some lighting fixtures.... the only ones shown in any of the photos (most are ceiling fans anyways)
Yeah that’s getting updated as well.

Do they just ram their fusion into the pile of junk at one of the garage? When the pile shifts you’re parked!

I’m in the process of buying and selling. I get more depressed each when I look. I have a decent budget for most places but the real estate market is ridiculous in Denver right now.
Good luck!

Now’s a good time to epoxy that floor!
Congrats on the purchase.

Nice garage, and I like the space of the kitchen counter.

Reading my mind. That’s what I did, cause I knew after I moved in it would never happen.

Slab looks like it’s in good enough shape, too. An etch and an epoxy job would probably turn out good.

Nice! I am supremely jealous of you. I just want a garage... of any size. Alas, I don’t have the cash

Same. We looked at a dozen houses before this one, many had offers on them the day they listed. Somehow this one didn’t and came DOWN in price (not sure why still) the day we look at it. We made an offer that night, with an Open House scheduled a few days after... they got three other offers but ours was the ‘cleanest’ and got accepted.
We close next Friday.

Bought in boulder county last fall. You aint kidding. Only reason i could was because of the previous home in the same town we bought in ‘10. So winwin on the equity game. And good luck to anyone moving in to denver. May their pockets be deep.

Yep. I bought on the east side in ‘13. Moving to avoid the I-70 mess and get a shorter commute. Mid-way between the missus and I’s workplaces puts us in the Littleton/Ken Caryl/Highlands Ranch area. Will be close to Chatfield which is nice.

Calling it pilot’s ranch now because of how many pilots live there. FedEx, United, Frontier, etc. Parker as well is that way. Getting ‘spensive in those towns.
